FLSA: Non-Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Continuing Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time Union Group: Clerical-Technical Association (MEA-NEA) Term of Position: 12 Month At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position: The position involves operating digital and large format printing equipment and all associate activities, taking part in management of campus copier fleet and covering for manager when that person is out of the office Position Type: Staff Required Education: Associate’s Degree in Printing/Graphic Media or related field.
Satisfactory completion of two years of college or equivalent.
The listed requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Equivalency for education: Two years of full-time, related work experience equals one year of education. Required Work Experience: Two years of part-time work are equivalent to one year of full-time work.
Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Full-time experience with traditional print equipment, digital print and large-format equipment, and all associated support systems, including installation of large-format signage
Graphic Design Experience
Demonstrated experience with university systems such as Banner, Concur, etc. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Operates digital printing equipment and associated bindery equipment.
Demonstrated logical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of a printing operation and equipment.
Plan and utilize materials and supplies economically.
Supervise student employees.
Demonstrated successful experience working directly with people from diverse backgrounds, including cultural, educational, socioeconomic, and life experiences. Required Documents:
