What You’ll be Doing
Train and mentor new therapy technicians.
Participate in staff meetings to enhance the learning and team environment.
Participate and assist in planning of technician meetings.
Coordinate therapy technician schedules, including time off requests.
Instruct, motivate, and assist patients to learn and improve functional activities such as perambulation, transfer, ambulation, and daily-living activities.
Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff. Will be required to demonstrate correct activity form or function.
Observe patients during various physical activities designed in the treatment plan, compile progress on patients’ response to treatment.
Effective communication of patient progress and reactions to treatment, to the physical therapist.

What You Bring to the Role
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 18 years of age or older
Major in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy Technician Certification, prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician, or interest in the field of physical therapy
Prior experience or knowledge as a physical therapy technician
CPR certification
