Job Description

Lead PCA (40 hour Medication Aide Required)
Hillcrest Mable Rose | Bellevue, NE
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm; must be willing to work any shift any day as needed based upon staffing.
Pay: $16.50-$20.21 per hour; on-call pay offered for participating in required on-call rotation

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on resident care while also helping mentor and guide new PCA team members. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medication Aide ready to step into a leadership-focused role while continuing to make a meaningful impact every day.

What does a day in the life look like?
• Administer medications safely and accurately according to regulations and resident preferences
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care needs
• Obtain vitals and complete monthly summaries as scheduled
• Lead, coach, and mentor new PCA team members
• Assist with onboarding and training for new hires
• Participate in staffing on-call rotation to help support scheduling needs
• Communicate resident concerns and updates with nursing staff and team members
• Support residents during meals, activities, and daily routines
What should candidates bring?
• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification required
• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
• Compassionate, calm, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
