THE OPPORTUNITY: Lead Patient Care Coordinator
THE LOCATION: Boynton Beach, Florida
Ready for a change? We have a full time opportunity available for an experienced Lead Patient Care Coordinator to join a great team in Boynton Beach, Florida. This established physical therapy practice has a great team of professionals who enjoy providing exceptional patient care while having fun doing it.
In this role, you'll oversee front desk operations while enhancing patient experience. As part of this team, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and providing excellent patient service.
You'll supervise, train and support patient care coordinators and front desk team. You'll greet and assist patients and serve as the primary point of contact for escalated patient concerns. You'll answer incoming calls and patient inquiries and you'll oversee scheduling accuracy utilizing an internet based scheduling system. You'll provide insurance verification, authorizations and documentation, while monitoring payment collection and balancing. You'll collaborate with the clinical staff in order to optimize patient flow and communication.
THE DETAILS
-Full time / 40 hour week
-Excellent compensation
-Benefits include: 50% paid health insurance, dental, vision and Aflac plans are available, 3 weeks of paid time off, 6 paid holidays, paid birthday, incentive based points system.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or GED
-At least 2 years of experience working in a medical front office, a therapy clinic or dental office
-At least one year of leadership or management experience
-Knowledge of medical terminology is required
-Experience with insurance verification and authorization is required
-Experience with scheduling systems is required
-Must have strong leadership, organizational skills and problem solving skills
-Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
-Must have EMR experience
-Able to multi-task and excel in a busy office
