Lead, Patient Access | Englewood, CO

Reports to Manager of Patient Access and Registration

Employment Type: Full Time. This position is 100% based in-office in Englewood, Colorado. Local candidates only.

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily direction, guidance, and support to team members to ensure effective workflow and productivity.
  • Trains and mentors team members on department processes, procedures, and job responsibilities.
  • Reviews and audits team member work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
  • Serves as a designated backup to the Manager and assumes appropriate leadership responsibilities during the Manager’s absence.
  • Serves as a resource for team members by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on daily operations.
  • Assists the Manager with the development, review, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Represents the department at meetings and communicates relevant information to the team when the Manager is unavailable.
  • Assists the Manager with the preparation and completion of annual performance evaluations and 90-day performance evaluations.
  • Schedules radiology examinations by telephone across all modalities, accurately screens patients, and determines the appropriate examination based on clinical and scheduling requirements.
  • Provides patients with accurate and pertinent information regarding scheduled examinations, preparation requirements, and other applicable instructions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned to support departmental operations and organizational needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • Previous radiology scheduling experience required
  • Knowledge of all radiology modality scheduling preferred (Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, DXA, Pain Management)
  • Strong verbal/ written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships with other departments
  • Previous leadership experience preferred

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Compensation is between $26.50 and $28.00 per hour.

In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis and will remain open until filled.

Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. PRN employees are not eligible for benefits
