Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned personnel and implements and administers policies and procedures as delegated by management. Develops and provides leadership to customer-focused production teams to institutionalize the processes of Continuous Quality Improvement in accordance with organization goals and objectives.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Oversees department activities and revises work assignments to meet schedules and contract priorities. Coordinates activities and provides technical direction to personnel.Interprets company policies to Stakeholders and enforces regulations relating to safety, attendance, conduct, and other plant rules. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production or processing schedules.Recommends measures to improve production or processing methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Provides guidance to teams on development, performance and productivity issues.Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Monitors and expedites flow of materials within production area.Receives and answers questions from workers pertaining to area processes or equipment operation. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.Maintains time and production or processing records. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Notifies maintenance workers of equipment malfunctions.
Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.
Minimum High School or GED.
If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement.

1 year(s) of the required 5)years experience in training, assigning and reviewing the work of lesser skilled stakeholders or have formal leadership assignments from another organization.
Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs.

While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment can vary from loud to a more moderate level.
