The job of an academic is both challenging and meaningful. Beyond possessing strong industry knowledge, skills, and experience in Digital Media & Communications, successful candidates should also demonstrate a passion for working with youths, nurturing their growth, and shaping meaningful learning experiences.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, the role will support the School’s outreach, student engagement, and marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on digital storytelling, content creation, youth engagement, and event activations. The successful candidate should be creative, resourceful, trendy, and digitally savvy, with a strong understanding of youth culture, social media trends, and digital communications.
The role offers opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, outreach campaigns, industry collaborations, school engagement initiatives, and strategic projects across the School and institution. Administrative work related to teaching, outreach, and School/Institutional initiatives will also form an important part of the role.
The appointee must be able to develop course materials, teach, and facilitate students’ learning in:
• Digital Marketing
• Digital Analytics
• Digital Content Development
As well as in one or more of the following areas:
• Social Media Marketing
• Journalism
• Research & Strategy
• Video Content Creation
• Advertising
• Integrated Marketing Communications

The Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is a technical agency in the Ministry of Defence that harnesses advanced digital technologies to meet Singapore’s security needs.
We develop capabilities to support missions such as cyber defence, counter terrorism, and counter hostile information operations. Our technical focus includes cybersecurity, data analytics, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure and services.
CSIT was established in 2003 and is a member of the Defence Technology Community.
