Continental 7am–7pm and 7pm-7am
2 days day shift, 2 days off, 3 days night shift, 2 days off, 2 days day shift, 3 days off, etc.
4th October onwards;-

Sunday evening 10.45pm finishing 6am Friday morning
Early 6am - 2pm then afternoon 2pm - 10pm

Responsibilities:
Escalate issues to ensure compliance to Company expectation on Safety, Quality, Cost, Plan adherence and People management.
Accountable for the accuracy of documentation required within the production department.
Conduct product quality checks throughout the shift and verify that all routine inspections have been carried out by the Packer Inspector / Manufacturing Operator.
Responsibility for line set up, 1st off and quality maintained through the batch.
Provide input to the shift supervisor who will have accountability for the people management of the team by supporting direct labour resource management as required to deliver production plan execution to meet plant KPI at optimal cost.
Provide cover for Production Supervisors role as required
Train and develop your team to achieve full training schedule. This will include all SOP's, quality system requirements, documentation, H&S, GMP and 5s.
Cover production as required i.e. operate machinery package and inspect products.
Ensure that wastage of material is kept to a minimum. Challenge and reduce wastage through problem solving.
Ensure operating team make checks in line with quality expectation.
Work in any unit, if required, to maintain company business.
Represent your department in meetings as required.
Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary carry out any cleaning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
Support the development of "PPI/Lean Manufacturing" within the department.
Carry out daily communication with team including tier meetings, tool box talks etc.
As a leader, manage and support 5S in the workplace ensuring team and operator compliance to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping, ensure workplace and team adherence with the required technical, quality standards, practice and specifications in line with the Company's ISO 9001 quality systems, ensure team and operator compliance in accordance with Com on Health and operator compliance in accordance with Company's Policies on Health and Safety, Company rules, regulations, 41 Values applicable laws.
Carry out any reasonable requests that are required to achieve the overall purpose of the job and to comply with the terms and conditions of employment operating throughout the Company. This may mean undertaking projects or additional tasks within the job holder's capability when required.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Good standard of education
Strong communication across all levels
Proven track record of working within a manufacturing plant.
Ability to learn, understand and carry out instructions.
Reasonable understanding of computer literacy including Microsoft offices and emailing
