Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Knowledge and/or Experience

• 15 years experience of Electrical Engineering, preferably in a major LNG Project. Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction and operations.
• Has completed at least one major EPC project of a minimum duration of 40 months through all project phases: detail engineering, construction, Commissioning, start up and hand over.
• Previous lead electrical position part of PMT or world class EPC contractor.
• Minimum project installed electrical power of 20MVA
• Maximum average turnaround of 30 months in previous positions.
• Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switchgear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large Motors, 40MW+) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
• High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
• Experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Strong technical and discipline management skills.
• Good organisational, planning and coordination skills.
• Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.

Requirement:

1. Candidate has completed at least 1 major oil & gas greenfield (preferably LNG) Onshore EPC project (4 ~ 6 years) working as Electrical Lead, for either:

1. Company PMT (Client side)
2. A major EPC contractor
3. Project experience is a must / maintenance or operation is a plus.
