As a small, fast-moving team, every engineer here has a direct impact on the finished car.

The Role

We're looking for a Lead NVH Engineer to own the noise, vibration and harshness attribute across our vehicle programs. At Zenvo, NVH isn't about making the car silent. It's about making it sound and feel exactly right: suppressing what's unwanted while shaping the sound character that defines a Zenvo. You'll lead NVH from concept through validation and homologation, working closely with powertrain, chassis, body and design teams and our key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and cascade vehicle-level NVH targets to system and component level, and own them through the full development cycle.
• Lead NVH development of a high-output hybrid powertrain, including combustion engine, e-motor, transmission, intake and exhaust.
• Drive sound character and brand sound development together with design and management, including exhaust and intake sound tuning.
• Manage the NVH challenges of lightweight carbon-composite structures, including structure-borne noise, panel radiation and squeak & rattle.
• Plan and run NVH testing (vehicle, rig and component), and use CAE (FEA/SEA) to guide design decisions early.
• Apply root-cause methods such as transfer path analysis, modal analysis and operational deflection shapes to resolve issues quickly.
• Own acoustic homologation, including exterior pass-by noise and acoustic vehicle alerting requirements.
• Specify NVH requirements for suppliers and oversee their delivery.
• Build and mentor the NVH function as the team grows.
• Report NVH status and risks into program timing and gateway reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of NVH engineering experience in automotive development.
• Proven experience working on hypercar programs.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain NVH, ideally including high-performance combustion engines and electrified drivetrains.
• Hands-on experience with NVH test equipment and software (e.g. Simcenter Testlab, HEAD acoustics, or similar).
• Working knowledge of NVH CAE and how to integrate simulation with test.
• Experience with exterior noise homologation (e.g. UN R51.03, R138).
• Degree in mechanical engineering, acoustics or a related field.
• Fluent English; Danish is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel to test tracks and supplier sites.
• Willingness to relocate to Denmark.
