- - - Under the general supervision of the Field QA Manager, performs in different phases of the Weatherization Program for various types of housing throughout San Joaquin, Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Napa, Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Franscisco Counties.

- - - Example of Duties:
- - - Basis carpentry skills, NGAT is responsible for all work being completed, NGAT will supervise and instruct 2nd man on tasks to complete. NGAT will oversee each job and ensure all measures are installed properly. Must possess basic knowledge in operating an iPad tablet. NGAT has to Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials and supplies used; completes, processes, and submits all required paperwork on iPad tablet. NGAT must Communicate with customers regarding energy consumption and provide excellent customer service. Safely utilizes handheld and small tools. Operates a motor vehicle safely.  Performs other related duties as assigned. Advanced training is required to perform natural gas safety checks.

- - - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- - - Must possess NGAT certification through PG&E. Skill in using small tools, i.e., cordless screwdriver, hammer, manual screwdriver, file, tin snips, and hacksaw.  Must be able to compute area volume using math equations. Ability to install pre-hung doors; lift, carry and move at least 60 lbs.; complete training as provided; provide excellent customer service; understand and apply all measures per Installation manual and program requirements; work in extreme heat and/or cold weather; organize/prioritize workload; follow oral and written instructions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, office staff, customers, co-workers, and the general public.

The CHOC/Energy Savings Assistance Program is funded through PG&E and Richard Heath and Associates.  This program is designed to provide home energy assessments, energy education and conservation installation services to low income qualified households in Yolo, Solano, and Sacramento counties.

Qualifications:
- - - Must possess a valid California Driver's License and be able to be insured through company fleet insurance to drive our vans. Background check required. Must possess NGAT certification through PG&E.
