【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】

Lead new project generation activities, create new research programs and accelerate new programs toward next milestone achievement under alignment with Head of New Project Generation & External Opportunities (NPG&EO). As needed, closely work with Business development and other NPG&EO members to access novel technologies for acceleration of newly generated early research programs.

【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

•Organize and facilitate cross-divisional workshops to identify seeds of new research programs.

•Co-work with Cell and Gene Therapy Research colleagues to prepare for new program input pitch, and achieve the approval for new program creation.

•Co-work with Cross-divisional team including Development and commercial toward early research milestone achievement.

•Perform or facilitate feasibility studies.

•Evaluate external opportunities/technologies for early research programs and make decision toward next step under alignment wth internal stakeholders.

•Establish the way to search for innovative technologies and new therapeutic targets with Digital solutions etc.

・This position is based in Tsukuba research center and will require on-site work.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】

＜必須 / Required＞

•PhD level scientist with 7+, MS with 12+ years’ experience

•Deep knowledge and experience on molecular biology and drug discovery and development

•Experience on research to lead early drug discovery programs toward milestones

＜歓迎 / Preferred＞

•Knowledge and experience on Adeno-Associated Virus gene therapy

•Knowledge and experience on in vitro and in vivo models, especially either in Neurology, ophthalmology or oncology research

•Experience on collaboration with external partners for technology scouting or transaction

•Experience on research for drug candidate creation with in vivo gene therapy modalities

②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給

③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給

①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.

②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)

③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
