Job Description

Role – As a Lead Network Engineer, this position is responsible for providing third-level operations support for the Global Cisco ACI/DCLAN Operations Team. The work would primarily involve working with the Cisco ACI solution we have deployed in Allianz, globally. The candidate should have excellent experience in Cisco ACI and Routing / Switching and an overview of Firewall and Cloud technologies in order to be able to understand the overall traffic flow and support the DCLAN environment in the most optimal way.

The candidate should have around 10-13 years of relevant Infrastructure experience with excellent hands on experience on Cisco ACI / Routing Technologies. The other Technologies involved in this role are as mentioned below.

Experience/Domain Knowledge needed:

Primary Skills (L3 Level expertise – mandatory requirement):

• Cisco ACI – Primary skill
• Cisco Routing / Switching – Primary skill

Secondary Skills (Secondary skills – good to have):

• Basic knowledge on Firewalls
• Basic knowledge on AWS / Azure Cloud Technologies
• Basic knowledge on Virtualisation (VMWare / Nutanix)

Responsibilities:

1. Support and manage Allianz's global Cisco ACI/DCLAN solution. The candidate will be part of the Allianz DCLAN Operations team.
2. Provide L3 level Escalation Operational support for the Cisco ACI / DCLAN solution.
3. Interact with Customers for understanding and supporting their requirements with Cisco ACI / DCLAN deployment.
4. Owning and supporting CISCO ACI migrations.
5. Incident / Change and Problem Management support for the Global CISCO ACI / DCLAN solution.
6. Working closely with Vendors (e.g. Cisco) for escalated issues until resolution.
7. Collaborating with Architecture, Engineering and various internal and external delivery and support teams for ensuring Optimal support for the Allianz CISCO ACI / DCLAN solution.
8. Proactively managing client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders
9. Analysing, evaluating, and communicating network capacity and performance data with the objective of driving improvements to customer networks.
10. Creating presentations and demonstrations related to technology, process, or client solutions as necessary.
11. Support the Information Security Officer and the Audit Units for periodic Audits / PT on the CISCO ACI / DCLAN solution
12. Documentation of infrastructure design, procedures and processes as part of Operational support activities.
13. Mentoring and provide Technical guidance for the L2 and L1 CISCO ACI / DCLAN Operations teams, as needed.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

1. The candidate should have around 10-13 years of relevant Infrastructure experience with excellent hands on experience on CISCO ACI / Routing and Switching Technologies.
2. B Tech Computer Engineering/E&C/MCA/BSc/MSc Computer Science /IT
3. Infrastructure certifications

Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
