
MEP Optimization Strategy:
Lead MEP value engineering efforts by identifying system-level inefficiencies and proposing integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions that enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
Develop alternate system designs and propose substitutions or redesigns that optimize overall building utility consumption and installation schedules.
MEP System Standardization and Documentation:
Create a repository of standard MEP system configurations, layouts, and performance benchmarks for different asset classes across the group.
Work with BUs to ensure adoption and customization of standards as per local regulatory conditions and project scale.
MEP Technology Assessment:
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies like smart HVAC systems, IoT-enabled BMS, and prefabricated MEP modules for feasibility in Adani projects.
Guide pilot implementation in selected BUs and define the adoption roadmap based on outcomes.
Design Integration:
Collaborate with architectural, civil, and process engineers to ensure MEP systems are integrated early into design and aligned with structural constraints and process flows.
Lead value engineering workshops focused on interdisciplinary trade-offs and lifecycle cost optimization.
Vendor and Consultant Interaction:
Work closely with MEP consultants, OEM vendors, and design specialists to review detailed system designs, optimize component selection, and ensure compliance with group-level standards.
Benchmark vendors on total cost of ownership, installation time, and system performance.
MEP Implementation Teams:
Act as a technical advisor for BU project teams implementing MEP value engineering, resolving design queries, and recommending alternatives as per project constraints.
Track implementation feedback from sites and integrate it into future standard updates.
Training and Technical Upliftment:
Develop technical guides and deliver training modules to elevate group-wide understanding of innovative MEP technologies and system-level optimization strategies.
Lead orientation sessions for junior team members and BU engineers to build awareness on evolving MEP standards.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Postgraduate degree in Building Services / Energy Systems / Project Management (preferred)
Work Experience:
12+ years of experience in MEP design, coordination, and implementation in infrastructure or real estate projects
Experience with MEP value engineering, prefabrication, and system optimization
Familiarity with BIM workflows and lifecycle energy performance modeling
