What You Will Do

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for wearable architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into engineering specifications.
  • Oversee the new product introduction (NPI) process, from concept through prototyping and production.
  • Conduct simulations and testing to validate designs and optimize performance metrics.
  • Implement best practices in mechanical engineering, focusing on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Ideal Candidate Background

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on product development.
  • Proven track record in designing and bringing to market wearable devices or similar hardware products.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with simulation tools for mechanical analysis.
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to wearable technology.

Preferred

  • Experience in robotics or AI applications related to wearable devices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the hardware industry.
  • Previous leadership experience in engineering projects or teams.
