What You Will Do
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for wearable architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into engineering specifications.
- Oversee the new product introduction (NPI) process, from concept through prototyping and production.
- Conduct simulations and testing to validate designs and optimize performance metrics.
- Implement best practices in mechanical engineering, focusing on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Ideal Candidate Background
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on product development.
- Proven track record in designing and bringing to market wearable devices or similar hardware products.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience with simulation tools for mechanical analysis.
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to wearable technology.
Preferred
- Experience in robotics or AI applications related to wearable devices.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the hardware industry.
- Previous leadership experience in engineering projects or teams.
