Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in office; NYC or Bethesda, MD

Reports To: Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships, Brand & Creative

About the Role

GEICO is expanding our creative team and building a best-in class sports and entertainment practice. We are looking for a talented marketing professional who can operate at the intersection of brand storytelling and culture to bring the brand to engaged and passionate audiences.

You will join a brand-new team within Brand & Creative, developing the creative side of GEICO's entertainment and sports partnerships. You will contribute to how the brand shows up alongside talent, teams, leagues, networks and studios, from first concept through finished work. Day to day, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and media and network partners; evaluate and sharpen creative at every stage; and make sure every partnership delivers against business objectives and the GEICO brand.

You will work closely with Integrated Marketing Leads, the Social team, our internal Creative Studio, Product Marketers, and Media to extend each partnership across the customer journey. The role blends creative thinking with hands-on project management across the full partnership lifecycle, and you help shape how this team expands and evolves.

This role is creative led, with a focus on the sports and entertainment world. We are seeking someone who is passionate about making content that has an impact on culture and connecting with people across passion points. You are people-first: you build trust with agencies, partners and internal teams, and you bring out their best work. Ideally, you have seen both sides of the table, at an agency where you developed and sold ideas, and in-house where you were accountable for results.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Creative Development

  • Support day-to-day creative execution of entertainment and sports partnerships.
  • Help identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, assessing creative potential, brand fit and business value alongside Integrated Media and Marketing + Brand and Creative Partnerships leadership.
  • Evaluate and contribute to business and creative brief development; assist in developing intake briefs and creative addendums for agency partners and the internal Creative Studio.
  • Provide creative input and recommendations throughout development; capture and communicate consolidated feedback to agencies and partners.
  • Review marketing and non-marketing materials, including partner- and talent-facing content, to ensure adherence to GEICO's brand voice and visual identity.

Partner and Project Management

  • Collaborate with creative agencies, media agencies, and network partners.
  • Maintain organization of Brand & Creative projects across the partnership lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with the team that manages talent relationships to keep creative within usage rights and ad expiration windows for commercials and external assets.
  • Contribute to budget tracking and lead on invoicing.

Cross-Functional Partnership and Amplification

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Integrated Marketing Leads, Product Marketers and Media, to develop omni-channel, partner-driven campaigns that align with business, product and marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with internal Social and Creative Studio teams to ensure shared strategic direction, brand cohesion and campaign extension across the customer journey.
  • Partner with Internal and External Communications to amplify awareness of campaigns and partnerships as they go to market.
  • Interpret and circulate creative performance metrics, and partner with Analytics to interpret performance and apply findings to current and future work.

You May Be a Good Fit If You

  • Have 3+ years of experience
  • Have shaped creative work in sports or entertainment, such as talent-led campaigns, sponsorships, branded content, or network integrations
  • Have a unique blend of creative, strategic and analytical skills
  • Have worked on both sides of the table: developing and selling ideas at an agency and being accountable for results on the client side.
  • Can look at a script, concept, or rough cut and give feedback that makes it better.
  • Can keep multiple projects and partners moving at once.
  • Build relationships with agencies, partners, and internal teams that leave people wanting to work with you again.
  • Do your best work when you are building something new, are comfortable when priorities shift quickly, and spot problems early enough to propose solutions.
  • Want to help build a new team inside a transformation at one of America's most beloved brands.

Location

  • Hybrid - 3 days per week in office
  • NYC and DC preferred
  • Flexibility with travel is a must
