<br>Responsible for the operation of a dedicated mammography equipment to perform radiologic procedures and overseeing other Mammographers.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms as needed. <br>
-Perform and document all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) per DPH, MQSA, and ACR guidelines. <br>
-Maintain daily records on all mammography examinations. <br>
-Monitor compliance with recommendations for follow-up studies. <br>
-Monitor recommendations for biopsies to ensure follow-up procedures have been performed. <br>
-Maintain pathological results from biopsies. <br>

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience
Prior mammography experience 2-3 years required and Supervisory experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment.
- Needs to be able to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, understand the differences of female growth and development, and look for signs of normal aging degree of understanding and physical limitation related to age.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
