We are actively seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our Lubbock, TX Facility. Our ideal candidate will be able to directly coordinate 3-8 employees in the Maintenance Department. This will include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist the Maintenance Manager in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.You would make sure that employees are engaged in maintaining and repairing all equipment while coordinating with other supervisors and employees to ensure that maintenance work is completed by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm
PAY: $32/HR and up (Depending on Experience)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Direct workers engaged in repairing production equipment and performing preventative maintenance. This includes prioritizing work of others.
· Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
· Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
· Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
· Initiate or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
· Coordinate and direct activities of workers as lead man and personally completes electrical, mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance procedures.
· Assist all departments with machinery breakdowns.
· Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
· Assist with all CMMs, data entry, maintenance and upkeep.
· Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuild, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
· Willing to work overtime when needed and call-in availability, as needed
· Follow all safety requirements for this position and complete pre-shift safety briefings and inspections and ensures workers to do the same.
· Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
· Perform all other duties as directed by management.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum one year experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
· Great trouble shooting abilities.
· Knowledge with AC & DC motors and drives and controls.
· 120/240/480v single and three phase systems.
· Good knowledge of state and local safety codes.
· Ability to use most hand and power tools and other tools needed for this position: Amp clamp, volt meter, wrenches, drills, presses, torches, etc.
Must be fluent in English but Bilingual is a Plus!
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
· Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondance.
· Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to successfully complete training through Dura-line’s lift truck training program.
· Ability to lift 60-70 lbs without assistance.
· Ability to lift 100 lbs or more with reasonable assistance.
· Ability to climb ladders, and work at many height levels.
· Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
· Be able to maintain a good working relationship between yourself and co-workers.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Manufacturing environment
· Electrical, water and chemical hazards present in working environment
· Work includes exposure to hot equipment, machinery with moving parts that start and stop automatically, and spending 8 hours a day on your feet.
· Moving from one area to another may require stepping over and/or ducking under objects.
WHAT WE OFFER:
*Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.**

“The compensation for this position is typically $26/Hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
