Looking to advance your career? Athens Services is currently seeking a Lead Mechanic to join our team. As the primary specialist responsible, for identifying and resolving technical problems in diesel and CNG fleets your role is crucial to our operations. You'll be tasked with examining Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports as handling any necessary roadside repairs ensuring that our fleet operates smoothly. With your expertise in maintaining truck equipment, understanding of DOT CHP repair procedures and strong communication skills you're a candidate, for the position.
The Shop Lead reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the management and leadership of the fleet maintenance operations. The Shop lead will work closely with fleet maintenance leadership to ensure that all shop employees comply with all company policies and are working within Cal OSHA regulations. The Shop Lead will work closely with all shop employees to ensure that they are performing truck maintenance in compliance with the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and California Vehicle Code regulations for the purpose of maintaining a smooth, and safe operation between shop, and operations on a daily basis.
