THE JOB:

The Lead Maintenance Engineer (Swing Shift) at The Signature plays a key role in keeping the property running smoothly during one of our most dynamic times of day. In this role, you’ll lead and support a team of technicians, laborers, and engineers, ensuring scheduled work is clearly assigned and completed efficiently. You’ll perform all duties in alignment with departmental standards and MGM Resorts International policies, helping maintain a safe, reliable, and well-operated environment for both guests and team members.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $42.80 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and ensure completion of all work performed by Facilities Technicians, Laborers, and Engineers, including assignments from Dispatch and Management
• Respond to emergency calls and expedite repairs to maintain guest and employee safety and comfort
• Organize, prioritize, and schedule work orders and projects as requested
• Receive and manage materials from the warehouse and dock; maintain knowledge of materials used across technical trades
• Maintain strong awareness of safety and accident prevention at all times

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a hotel or industrial complex property
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
