MVS Specialist (Japanese / Korean Speaker)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused colleague to join the Lead Logistics Emerging products team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Maersk's visibility solutions while developing expertise in customer experience, supply chain operations, and digital products.

The successful candidate will be part of a locally managed team based in Chengdu and will report directly to a China-based people leader. Local leadership will provide ongoing coaching, performance guidance, and career development support. At the same time, the role offers valuable exposure to regional and global stakeholders through cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with customers, operations teams, and product stakeholders, you will help deliver an excellent customer experience while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customer onboarding and adoption of the MVS platform.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate updates.
• Investigate and resolve visibility-related issues and exceptions.
• Execute operational activities in line with established SOPs and IOPs.
• Monitor service performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow optimization.
• Support reporting, analysis, and operational insights generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and service delivery.
• Demonstrate Maersk values and customer-centric behaviors in daily operations.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Fluent Japanese or Korean language capability (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for service excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations.
• Knowledge of shipment visibility solutions or tracking platforms.
• Power BI reporting and data visualization skills.

Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives.
