Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. Our Junior Ninjas program introduces children ages 5-7 to STEM, coding, and technology concepts through fun, hands-on activities, games, and creative learning experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, engaging, and reliable Lead Junior Sensei to help lead our Junior Ninjas program. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and has experience in early childhood education, childcare, camps, tutoring, or elementary education.

No coding experience required. We provide training.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with every student
• Lead fun, hands-on STEM and coding activities for children ages 5-7
• Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
• Keep parents informed about student progress and successes
• Help support and coach other Junior Ninjas instructors
• Prepare classroom activities and materials
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
• Follow daily operational procedures and assist with center events

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children ages 5-7
• Ability to confidently lead groups of young children
• Patient, warm, playful, and engaging personality
• Strong communication skills with both children and parents
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, Elementary Education, or related experience
• Experience as a preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher, paraeducator, childcare provider, camp counselor, tutor, or after-school instructor
• Experience managing groups of young children in a classroom, camp, childcare, or enrichment setting

Schedule

• Part-time
• After-school hours
• Saturday availability preferred

Compensation: $21.30 - $21.30 per hour
