About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our Calypso DevSecOps team Calypso is a large-scale capital markets system supporting trading, risk management, and processing of complex financial products. The team is responsible for development, maintenance, user support, and long-term technical evolution of the Calypso platform.
As a Lead Developer, you will take one of the key technical leadership roles in shaping solutions, ensuring architectural quality, and driving delivery across team and tribe boundaries. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, quality assurance, Scrum Master, Product Owner, architects, and other stakeholders across SEB in Riga, Stockholm, and other international locations.
You will operate in an Agile environment with a strong focus on system stability, security, maintainability, and continuous improvement. Beyond hands-on development, this role requires proactive decision-making, technical ownership, and contribution to SEB’s broader technology and architecture roadmap.

Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job.
