Position Summary

As a Lead Insulation Installer, you'll direct crews through insulation projects, performing handson installation work with fiberglass, spray foam, and cellulose while mentoring the apprentices

and technicians around you. This role offers meaningful leadership responsibility with real longterm stability in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead insulation crews in the installation of fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose, and other

materials

• Train, mentor, and support apprentices and technicians to build technical skills
• Perform insulation installation in attics, crawl spaces, walls, and other areas per

specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, site drawings, and project instructions
• Conduct inspections of completed installations to verify accuracy and performance
• Maintain detailed job records in ServiceTitan or similar project/service management

software, including notes, photos, and materials used

• Communicate professionally with customers about project scope, progress, and outcomes
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew performance to keep jobs on schedule
• Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of company tools, equipment, and vehicles

Qualifications: Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or trade school training preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of insulation installation experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or crew

lead capacity

• Strong technical knowledge of insulation materials, installation practices, and building code

requirements

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
• Proficiency with ServiceTitan or similar project/service management software preferred

Physical Demands and Conditions

• Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended

periods

• Work performed indoors (attics, crawl spaces, basements) and occasionally outdoors
• Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and insulation materials

Work Environment/Travel

• Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites
• May require evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on project schedules
