WinSport is seeking energetic, highly knowledgeable, and passionate individuals for the position of Lead Instructor, Summer Ringette Camps. If you have a strong background in ringette skill development, experience mentoring instructors, and a commitment to delivering outstanding youth sport experiences, we invite you to apply.
WinSport’s Summer Ringette Camps offer a dynamic on‑ice and off‑ice development experience for young athletes. Participants explore skating fundamentals, ring control, passing, shooting, gameplay concepts, and physical literacy activities. Our guiding principles include building confidence, developing core ringette skills, fostering teamwork, and creating meaningful connections through sport.
This full‑summer leadership role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a high‑quality, safe, and progressive ringette camp experience for participants ages 5–11. The Lead Instructor provides directions to a team of instructors and junior instructors. They are accountable for managing ice sessions, group flow, safety, and skill progression for up to 36 participants.
Lead Instructors adapt their coaching approach based on age, ability, and experience level, ensuring that younger groups (ages 5–8) experience engaging play‑based development, while older groups (ages 9–11) receive structured, progressive skill instruction and game‑based learning.
