Job Description: Lead Information Security Engineer - IAM (Quality Assurance)

Value Proposition

As part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team at First Citizens Bank, the Lead Information Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our IAM solutions through rigorous testing and validation processes.

This person should possess strong background in quality assurance, good analytical and technical problem-solving skills as well as experience in the different phases of the software life cycle, to support multiple projects, development of SOP's and day-to-day functional capabilities.

About the Team:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program supports end-to-end access management for all employees, contractors and the systems and applications to which access is granted.

Impact:

This position resides within the Cyber Security organization supporting the deployment, through testing various features of Identity of Access Management Life Cycle. This role will help automate many of the workflows and features that forms the regression suite automation. This will be an individual contributor role reporting directly to the IAM Program Manager.

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Extensive experience in test automation, having worked with frameworks/tools such as (Rest-Assured Cucumber, Selenium, Postman)
• Competent building test suites in modern programming languages (i.e Java or JavaScript/TypeScript etc.)
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java Script, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Responsible in developing components using continuous integration / continuous delivery approaches
• Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating with various products, and engineering teams
• Experience defining test coverage for manual and automation scripts
• A Pro-active individual, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Automate test processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and security aspects.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP).
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)

Functional Skills:

• Strong expertise in testing and automation. Comfortable in using automation frameworks and integrating with large eco systems.
• Ability to automate test process and create synthetic data for automation testing along with performance testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on technical execution.

Technical/Business Skills:

• 7+ Years of experience in analysis and application onboarding.
• Good understanding of workflows in SailPoint
• Testing and Automation
• Experience in building Performance test suites
• Good knowledge and understanding of data
