For over 55 years ASM has been ahead of what’s next, at the forefront of innovation and what’s technologically possible. With more than 4,500 ASMers representing 70 nationalities, our people and our advanced semiconductor devices are playing a crucial role in trends such as 5G, cloud computing, AI, and autonomous driving.  But we’re more than just a tech company. We value diversity, inclusion and sustainability as we strive to make a positive impact on the world. Our development programs help support your growth, shaping your future and pushing the boundaries of innovation to unleash potential.

Are you interested in having an impact on the wellbeing of people and the planet? Does it sound exciting to join a fast-paced and dynamic industry? The Supply Chain Sustainability Program Manager is a data-driven individual that’s responsible for driving health and safety practices across our supply chain, realizing operational execution, and reporting of various supply chain sustainability programs.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of ESG, this role focuses on the ‘engine room’ of the function: program execution, data orchestration, supply chain risk identification, and overall target realization. This role will manage the annual disclosure cycles for CDP, and ensure compliance with emerging packaging and due diligence regulations such as the EU PPWR and CSDDD. This role is also essential for maintaining the trajectory of ASM’s ESG supply chain programs and ensuring supply chain risks of EHS violations are identified, assessed, and remediated in a timely manner. You will be part of a global sustainability organization and engage with a globally distributed supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end annual CDP Climate Change and Water disclosure process for our supply chain, ensuring high response rates and data quality.
  • Manage the orchestration, execution and follow-through of supplier Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) audits, ensuring findings related to chemical safety, machine safeguarding, and emergency preparedness are accurately identified and resolved.
  • Aggregate and validate supplier-level ESG data for inclusion in ASM’s annual ESG disclosures
  • Execute the data collection and tracking required for packaging regulations such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), focusing on material composition and recyclability performance
  • Utilize the RBA Risk Assessment Platform and other ESG software to map and monitor supply chain risks, with a focus on human rights, labor practices, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).

Required Profile and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in ESG program management, EHS, and/or supply chain sustainability
  • Experienced with health and safety auditing, preferably within the RBA and/or ISO 45001 frameworks.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to handle deadlines
  • Ability to clearly convey requirements and compliance standards to suppliers and internal procurement partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the semiconductor supply chain, RBA standards, and the basic environmental impacts of semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.

Apply today to be part of what’s next.

About ASM

At ASM, we’re shaping the future at the atomic level. We enable the next generation of microchips by empowering leading semiconductor manufacturers with advanced wafer processing equipment.

Through our mastery of thin-film deposition, we create the innovative tools and solutions that shape the materials at the heart of tomorrow’s technology – powering everything from AI and next-generation healthcare to cloud computing and smarter, more energy-efficient devices.

With over 4,600 people representing more than 60 nationalities across 15 locations worldwide, we’re united by one ambition: to stay ahead of what’s next. And with research centers in seven countries and nearly a quarter of our people and profits devoted to research and development, excellence is our baseline, not our finish line.

Our pioneering thin-film deposition technologies – like atomic layer deposition, epitaxy, silicon carbide, chemical vapor deposition and vertical furnaces – help our customers push the limits of performance, speed, and efficiency. Our strong patent portfolio, flat organization, and agile way of working enable fast collaboration, global mobility, and a competitive edge far beyond our scale.

Every day, we work to make integrated circuits smaller, faster, more energy-efficient, and more powerful. Together, we’re advancing technologies that unlock new potential and improve lives.
