What You'll Do as a Lead HVAC Service Technician

  • Diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems, identifying issues quickly and providing effective solutions.
  • Perform service calls, inspections, and preventative maintenance on furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, hydronic systems, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and replacement options clearly so homeowners can make informed decisions.
  • Prepare repair estimates and replacement proposals that align with customers' needs and system requirements.
  • Educate homeowners on system performance, maintenance best practices, and available solutions to improve comfort and efficiency.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly to support efficient operations and customer service.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe, professional working condition.
  • Mentor less-experienced technicians as needed while helping uphold our standards for quality and customer care.

Our Ideal Lead HVAC Service Technician

  • Experienced: 5 years of residential HVAC service experience required; strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Independent: Confidently manage service calls, prioritize work, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Customer-Focused: Communicate technical information clearly and professionally while building trust with homeowners. Confidently diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
  • Skilled: Experience servicing furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, hydronic systems, and related HVAC equipment; EPA Certification and ServiceTitan experience are a plus.
  • Capable: Able to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and perform the physical demands of HVAC service work.
  • Values-Driven: Take pride in quality work, act with integrity, and contribute positively to a faith-based, team-oriented culture.
