About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an HR Operations Consultant to join the HR Escalations team within Employee Care. This role is critical in supporting the resolution of complex and escalated HR cases, enabling frontline teams, and driving continuous improvement across HR operations.

This is a dynamic environment where processes and structures are evolving, requiring an individual who is adaptable, collaborative, and able to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a strong focus on employee experience and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Resolve complex and escalated Employee Care cases using research, analysis, and sound judgment

  • Partner cross-functionally with HRBPs, business leaders, and specialized HR teams to deliver effective solutions

  • Provide guidance and coaching to frontline teams to enhance capability and service delivery

  • Identify trends, risks, and process gaps; recommend and support improvements

  • Execute complex HR operations tasks across systems such as Workday and ServiceNow

  • Support team performance, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives

  • Prioritize work independently while providing day-to-day support and mentorship to team members

  • Act as a key partner to the manager, providing backup support and ensuring SLA attainment

  • Contribute to process changes and continuous improvement efforts in an evolving environment

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Human Resources operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience handling complex HR cases or escalations in an HR operations or shared services environment

  • Knowledge of HR functional areas such as benefits, employee relations, or HR compliance

  • Experience partnering with HR Business Partners, leaders, and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and navigate ambiguity

  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow)

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including research, analysis, and critical thinking

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to operate with urgency and accuracy

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment with a positive, flexible mindset

  • Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters
