The LEAD HR Generalist provides professional HR guidance & support for the client group Leaders and Managers on organizational, employee matters as well as coaching on HR process and other general HR activities ensuring compliance with the industry regulations, Global Policies, local labor laws / related legislations and safety standards.

Individuals in this category act as the HR Manager of record for a client group which requires thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context hence the role is required to partner with both corporate teams, the local joint venture (JV) Executive Board/ JV partners and field operations to drive workforce effectiveness, maintain employee relations, and support a strong safety and performance culture.

As a Lead HR Generalist (Oil & Gas), you will be responsible for:

· A first point of contact for employees & managers who provide leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes/ procedures. For use in businesses that are operating in the HR Partnership Model.

· Support Hiring Manager/ Talent Acquisition/ Onboarding team on recruitment and onboarding related.

· Assist with monthly payroll inputs, allowances, job bonus, field job etc including attending employee queries related to pay and benefits.

· Responsible for all PIT related matters which includes but not limited to dependent registrations, deletion, PIT declaration and annual finalization.

· Support performance review cycles and assist managers in managing underperformance and development plans.

· Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.

· Maintain employee records, contracts and other related documents locally to meet local requirements/ compliance.

· Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to HR compliance internally and externally.

· Support employee engagement initiatives across remote and site-based teams.

· Support Immigration related, as appropriates.

· Custodian of all local HR related policies/ process/ procedure to ensure it’s live documents at all time.

· Assist in HR system implementation and process improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

· 7–10 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy in which min 3 years in Employee Human Resource Management role.

· Strong understanding of local labor related laws/ legislations including HSE compliance requirements.

· Strong understanding of local PIT/ Immigration laws and legislations. Basic understanding of Global Mobility related is a plus.

· Strong communication skills (oral & written) with ability to interact across all levels (including field workers).

· Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.

· Effective problem identification and conflict solution skills.

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams.

· Proven analytical and organizational ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.

· Experienced in developing local HR policies/ processes/ procedures especially the Internal Working Regulations and registration process.

· Experienced with HRIS (SAP/ Workday).
