
The Salvation Army Veterans Housing is looking for a Lead Grant Per Diem Case Manager. This individual will lead, oversee, and coordinate the activities of veterans residing in the Transitional Housing Grant Per Diem programs. Act as a primary point of contact with the HCHV Grant Per Diem Program Liaison at the VA Hope Recovery Center, and Midtown Service and Treatment Center.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a starting salary of $53,000 per year. 2935 Locust Street, St. Louis, MO.
Essential Functions
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human service/social service field or related area plus one years of work experience is required. Experience working with recovering substance abusers and veterans is a plus. Combination of education and work experience will be considered. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Recognized Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (RASAC) or LPC or LCSW is a plus. Requires some computer word processing, spreadsheet, and email experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; understanding of the homeless and chemically dependent veteran population. Must be a team player, a self-starter, able to handle several projects at the same time and perform well with minimum supervision. Must demonstrate ability to think independently and exercise sound judgment.
