Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Run S&OP process on monthly basis.

Review unconstrained forecast of new products with Sales and Marketing.

Host meeting with R&D Project Managers, Product Line managers, Factory Planning and Project Managers to review capacity, materials and other constraints, work out revenue forecast.

Follow up on constraint clearance. Update revenue forecast.

Drive team decision on forecast loading for material procurement and capacity preparation.

Analyze, capture and report revenue risk. Escalate and drive closure of the gaps.

Load forecast to MRP.

Track product forecast history.

  • Support project team on development of new products

Analyze BOM (bill of material) and identify critical material items.

Coordinate decision making of material ordering strategies. Track progress of execution.

Share forecast for the right goal setting.

  • Manage material inventory and meet the finance target.

Drive Procurement Team to push out/cancel material purchasing orders when demand drop.

Monitor the whole planning process to make sure no double booking or miss booking to ensure healthy material pipeline.

Analyze and report E&O risk.

  • Improve current process and set up S&OP/Supply Chain process for new business unit or business model with Operations Team.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 5+ years’ in demand planning or NPI project management. S&OP or IBP working experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of demand planning process and material planning process.
  • Capability of working across different functional teams and working with all management levels in English.
  • Excellent analytical skills, proficient in Excel
  • Strong knowledge of MRP data structure.
  • SAP or Oracle experience is preferred
  • Excellent data presentation skills.
