Job Description

We are recruiting a Lead Generator Technician to help launch and grow a new service operation in the Austin, TX market. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level generator technician who wants to take on a leadership role while remaining hands-on in the field.

Position Offers

• Up to $55/hour depending on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we may be able to request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial standby generators
• Perform PMs, load bank testing, troubleshooting, and emergency service
• Service ATS equipment and related power generation systems
• Support municipal, university, public safety, and commercial customers
• Work independently while helping grow the Austin service operation
• Mentor future technicians as the team expands

Requirements

• 5+ years experience servicing commercial standby generators
• Experience performing PMs, diagnostics, and load bank testing
• Diesel and/or natural gas engine knowledge
• ATS experience required; switchgear is a plus
• Experience with generator controllers
• Ability to work independently in a field service role
• Leadership experience or interest in growing into a lead technician role preferred
