Whatyou’lldo

  • Provide technical direction and leadership to the software development team.

  • Define and enforce coding standards, architectureguidelinesand development best practices.

  • Work with the Systems Engineer and Architect to lead the design and development of software solutions, ensuring scalability,performanceand security.

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Works with Product and the development team to estimate initiatives as part of our development process.

  • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and technical skills development.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.

  • Work with Platform Managerand Product Managerto plan, prioritize and manage development tasks to meet project deadlines.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues and propose solutions when necessary.

  • Analyzes, designs, develops,modifies, writes,editsand implements software programming applications.

  • Analyzes and defines software requirements todeterminespecifications and standards.

  • Proposes software solutions.

  • Determinesthe cost of new and modified systems and engages in the proposal process.

  • Develops, designs, and edits original applications ormodifiesthird-party applications.

  • May specialize in one or more areas of development,e.gfront end, back end

  • Minimal travel

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in years of relevant work experience

  • 10+ years of software development experiencewith at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

  • Expertin Java,React Golanghelpful

  • Experience with cloud platforms e.g., AWS

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, designpatternsand best practices.

  • Passionate about quality, scalable,well-builtand easy-to-use applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving,communicationand interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Agile-scrum development processes and methodologies

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience deploying productsleveragingthese methodologies.

  • Team player with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and goals

Compensation:This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expectedBase Salary Range:$154,450-$205,000The actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on experience and other factorspermittedby law.
