Job Description
Our client is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer with 10+ years of experience to design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, leading infrastructure-as-code initiatives, developing Python applications, and architecting scalable cloud solutions in a client-facing engagement.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Design and deploy infrastructure-as-code stacks using AWS CloudFormation, managing the complete AWS application lifecycle
- Develop Python applications and FastAPI middleware, implementing robust REST APIs and authentication flows including OIDC
- Deploy and manage Dash/Plotly dashboards and integrate Amazon Neptune graph database infrastructure for data visualization and analytics
- Implement Docker containerization and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, reliable deployments across environments
- Architect and design cloud platforms and solutions leveraging AWS services (S3, RDS, ECS) with observability and monitoring best practices
- Utilize Langchain for AI/ML integration and leverage AWS services to build intelligent, scalable applications
- Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, communicate technical solutions, and ensure delivery alignment
- Lead technical decisions and mentor team members on cloud architecture, development practices, and platform design
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated expertise in full-stack development
- Advanced proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS services (CloudFormation, S3, RDS, ECS, Neptune)
- Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs, authentication flows (OIDC), and secure microservices architectures
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using modern DevOps tools and practices
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud architecture design, and observability/monitoring solutions
- Proficiency with Dash, Plotly, and Langchain for building data-driven applications and AI integrations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- W2 or 1099 eligibility; ability to work fully remote
