Your daily pitch

Do you have a passion for data? Do you believe that the best decisions are made by understanding and analysing the available data? Does bringing data to life excite you? Then this position might be just the right opportunity for you! In this role, you will be the bridge between Finance and our Digital & Tech teams. Working within FP&A, you will ensure reliable cost data, accurate forecasts, and meaningful insights to guide technology investments, budgeting, monthly reporting, and business planning.

Your playing field:

• You own the maintenance and continuous improvement of financial models for Digital & Tech, covering budgeting, forecasting, actual spend, and scenario analysis.
• You prepare monthly presentations on Digital & Tech costs, highlighting key developments, risks, and opportunities.
• You oversee the monthly cost capitalisation process for eligible development activities, ensuring alignment with accounting policies.
• You coordinate budgeting and forecasting with Digital & Tech stakeholders, aligning financial plans with workforce requirements, technology roadmaps, and planned investments.
• You perform financial-controlling checks on cost postings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• You contribute to monthly management reporting through variance analysis, clear commentary, and coordinated input from Finance and Digital & Tech teams.
• You focus on understanding the underlying cost drivers by assessing the necessity and effectiveness of existing spend, and identify opportunities to operate more efficiently and effectively by support the relevant Budget Owners/Stakeholders.

Qualifications

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

• Qualification. You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business or data.
• Experience. You bring experience in FP&A or financial controlling, ideally supporting technology or digital teams. Familiarity with technology cost drivers, such as software licences, cloud services, external providers, and workforce costs, is an advantage.
• Tech-savvy. You use Excel as an expert and it's your daily business. You're confident in using advanced functions in Excel (i.e. data manipulation, power query, pivot tables and formulas) and you have a strong interest in technology. Any additional experience with tools used for data analysis, reporting, or automation (such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong communicator. You translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and confidently work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across seniority levels.
• Languages. You are fluent in English and you are able to communicate with various stakeholders across all seniority levels in a confident and efficient way.
