What impact you'll make?

The role mainly focuses on transformational activities within the cost space working on improving our processes, creating standard work and unleashing potential in new tools/technologies. Also responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

What you’ll do

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Leads transformational projects within the functional cost area. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
• Uses judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• May be responsible for managing the business cycle- 3 year plan, budget, forecasts at each level of the organization. Define KPIs to measure the performance in all areas of the organization- mfg., R&D, eng, supply, commissioning. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance

• Experience in closing, analysing, and forecasting in a multiple legal entity environment

• Experience with core financial systems and processes (GL, transaction registers, journal entries)

• Strong oral and written communication skills; will interact cross functionally across all levels of the organization

• Fluent English AND Hungarian knowledge

• Ability to prioritize and meet quarterly and monthly timelines

• Attention to detail and accuracy; able to link results to drivers and find areas of opportunity for improvement

• Critical thinker with flexibility to adapt to new information

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with support and direction of the team

Additional Notes:

• Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary

• This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
