What You’ll Do
- Conduct outreach activities to connect with and identify potential students (tabling event, canvassing)
- Building relationships with building managers, department complex managers, and small business owners to obtain permission to distribute information.
- Reporting team activities and progress to the Director of Family Engagement.
- Leading tabling event days by providing guidance, instructions, and support to team members
- Attend fairs, community events, and other enrollment-related activities
- Schedule and host school tours to showcase academic offerings and student life
- Provide accurate information about academic programs, admission requirements, and enrollment processes
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Team to ensure a timely and efficient application process
- Follow up on student leads via phone, email, and in-person visits
- Demonstrate knowledge of diverse communities and willingness to explore outreach opportunities within Colorado Springs.
- Support the Enrollment Team during application nights and related events
- Other duties as assigned, the main ones being translating, collaborating in all school events, etc.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly

/Non-Exempt
- $21.00 per hour
- Seasonal; March - September
- Part-time; Afternoon/Evenings and weekends; Approximately 14 hours per week
- - Includes at least 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day per month
- - Approximate Times: Weekdays 2:00 - 6:00 PM and Weekends 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (subject to change based on events and recruiting needs)

QualificationsWho you are

Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish-English)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekday evenings and at least one weekend per month
- Have reliable transportation or access to alternative transit options
- Strong organizational and networking abilities
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an energetic and outgoing personality
Desired

Qualifications
- Experience with community outreach and/or working in K-12 or higher education recruitment
Essential Functions
- Driving to and from community events
- Ability to set up and transport event materials (up to 25 pounds), with reasonable accommodations if needed
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during outreach events
- Ability to endure various weather conditions
