Your role at a glance

Checks that all maintenance and repairs requests received within the office environment and related buildings are carried out in line with the service level agreement.
Provides support with the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
Checks that daily building inspections and ensures that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
Documents and reports on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management.

What we are looking for

Key Responsibilities:
Checks that all maintenance and repairs requests received within the office environment and related buildings are carried out in line with the service level agreement.
Provides support with the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
Checks that daily building inspections and ensures that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
Documents and reports on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management.
Coordinates routine maintenance and repairs schedule.
Provides support with ensuring that the tasks are completed according to the schedule and updates and maintains the maintenance database.
Ensures that buildings, offices and equipment are maintained to the required standards and that service levels are met.
Provides support to ensure that all office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock (office consumable) levels are maintained and securely stored.
Liaises with all internal and external stakeholders including building services management, security, and access control and cleaning staff.
Escalates non-performance of internal and external stakeholders to the management.
Checks all contractor documentation and maintains records such as permits, leases and correspondence on behalf of the business.
Provides team lead support to more junior resources within the team.
Knowledge and Attributes:

Good knowledge of general hygiene practices.
Good knowledge of facility layout.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Detail orientated with good organizational skills.
Excellent knowledge of safety practices.
Good at time management.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
Ability to coordinate the work of others.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
High school certificate.
Relevant vocational training.
Required experience:
Significant demonstrated experience gained in a similar role and preferably a related work environment.
Significant team leader experience preferred.
