
The Lead, Enterprise Skills Development will lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide skills development initiatives, leveraging AI and skills intelligence to build personalized, scalable development solutions that enable employees and leaders to grow in line with AT&T’s shift to a skills-based organization.
This role sits on a newly formed team driving AT&T’s transition to a skills-based, AI-enabled development model. As a Lead, Enterprise Skills Development, you will play a hands-on role in building and delivering scalable programs that develop critical skills across the workforce. You will partner closely across HR, the business, and the broader Talent & Development team to translate enterprise skills strategy into practical development experiences—using AI, data, and modern platforms to personalize learning, accelerate capability building, and improve workforce agility. This is an opportunity to contribute at the ground level of a major transformation and help shape how AI and skills intelligence redefine development across AT&T.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver enterprise-wide skills development initiatives aligned to business priorities
Translate enterprise skills and capability frameworks into practical development programs and experiences
Leverage AI, skills intelligence platforms, and talent data to personalize learning and development at scale
Build scalable learning approaches (e.g., cohort-based, experiential, digital, and AI-driven learning solutions)
Collaborate across HR, business leaders, and Talent & Development to identify and address capability gaps
Contribute to embedding skills into talent processes (e.g., career paths, internal mobility, development planning)
Help define and reinforce leadership and manager expectations through targeted, data-informed development
Use AI-driven insights and analytics to continuously improve program effectiveness and learner outcomes
Support adoption of skills-based and AI-enabled development practices across the organization
Required Skills & Experience
7 years of experience in Learning & Development, talent development, or workforce capability building
Prior Learning & Development experience required
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise or large-scale development initiatives
Strong understanding of leadership development, skill building, and behavioral change
Experience translating strategy into practical, scalable solutions
Ability to partner effectively across HR and business stakeholders
Strong execution skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Analytical mindset; comfortable using data and insights to assess needs and measure impact
Working knowledge of AI-enabled learning tools, skills platforms, or data-driven development approaches
Preferred Experience
Experience working with skills frameworks or skills-based talent practices
Exposure to workforce transformation or large-scale change initiatives
Experience with skills intelligence platforms, AI-powered learning tools, or talent marketplaces

Our Lead Org Development jobs earn between $118,800.00 - $178,200.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
