We are looking for a highly driven Lead Engineering Manager to lead the development of scalable, high-performance enterprise platforms used in industrial automation and warehousing environments. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and enjoys building engineering teams, scalable systems, and efficient development processes.

As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end engineering execution, leading technical initiatives, mentoring development teams, and ensuring delivery of reliable and scalable software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Python along with a solid understanding of backend systems, databases, and modern engineering practices.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product, operations, architecture, and leadership teams to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, solving complex engineering challenges, and leading teams through high-impact product and platform development initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for building scalable enterprise applications and backend systems
• Drive end-to-end software development lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimization
• Design and implement high-performance backend services and scalable APIs using Python
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and engineering priorities
• Ensure engineering best practices across coding standards, security, scalability, maintainability, and system reliability
• Mentor engineers and create a high-performance engineering culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement
• Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, sprint execution, and release planning
• Optimize application performance, database operations, and system scalability for enterprise-grade deployments
• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making for long-term platform scalability
• Identify process improvements and implement engineering practices that improve development speed and product quality
• Conduct code reviews, technical evaluations, and solution design reviews
• Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
• Ensure strong documentation, monitoring, and operational visibility across engineering systems
