If you are a design professional, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking a VOS Engineering Team Lead to support our Team. This position will work with and lead the ETO team for Emerson's ETO India business. You will take part in project-wide reviews of requirements, specifications, and detailed design deliverables. You will also be responsible for collaborating with internal customers such as the sales team, project managers and operations to understand project schedule and scope requirements in high-quality design in accordance with our Quality system, as well as ensuring Engineering deliverables are prepared with due diligence and appropriate consideration of customer requirements.
The successful candidate will be skilled at executing, planning, delegating, and mentoring a team and will have overall accountability for the timely delivery of technical Drawings and bill of materials.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Participate in the handover meeting and discuss with sales and project management team on the project requirements and any deviations.
Create a project timeline, notify the stakeholders, identify risks, and take appropriate action to reduce them.
Drive the team to create wiring, schematic, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with the project specification
Review manufacturing designs and the bill of materials
Drive the team to meet their KPIs like RDSL, Quality, etc. working toward the goal.
Prepare project metrics and review them weekly/monthly with higher management.
Investigate and resolve operational problems from an engineering perspective.
Encourage the team to put the needs of the customer foremost by understanding and meeting those demands with high Quality of Deliverables.
Develop / Create standards in line with engineering processes and procedures
Create work instructions to describe engineering best practices.
Define goals and objectives for the team and review periodically
Co-ordinate with cross-function departments
Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity of deliverables

For This Role, You Will Need:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in CAD, PLM, ERP tool
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
To manage the flow of job in such a way that the priorities are given due attention and the work is completed on time.
To use CAD tool to create Drawings based on the standard and to maintain Drawing Database
Good Engineering knowledge required to apply concepts in Valve operating system Engineering.
Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to drive change and effectively handle multiple priorities.
Experience in planning, delegating and mentoring a team.
Identifying & planning upskilling of team members apart from regular day-to-day functional deliverables by the team.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in Solid Edge, Teamcenter or any other equivalent CAD/PLM Tools
Experience in working any ERP Tool, Oracle preferred
