Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Should be capable of leading the team from front for overall delivery.
2. Should know the design concepts and future technologies from global market and execution of the same
3. Defining and reviewing display module architecture and specifications.
4. Executing validation and testing plans for optical and electrical performance.
5. Conducting failure analysis on display defects to improve product quality.
6. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and production goals.
7. Handling displays performance data analysis using tools like Imaging Colorimeters, Goniometer etc.
8. Managing display-related engineering issues during product ramp and field returns.
9. Should be able to visualize and develop design concepts within the consideration of functional requirement (design / cost / weight targets), position (spatial arrangement, interactions, boundary conditions), geometry (dimension/tolerance etc.), gap and flushness considering the vehicle level requirements/ constraints of systems/subsystems (as an input to the SOR) and thereby executing first time innovative solutions and
10. Should be able to work on POC for future technologies.
11. Should capture all technical requirements on SOR, DVP,TSO, TKO meeting all functional, interface quality & regulatory standards/requirements with in project time line.
12. Interact with supplier from concept to SOP capturing all SOR requirements.
13. Address and assist team for build & validation issues until SOP.
14. Managing and tracking of design release, development, validation & field failures
15. Review & release technical specifications & other documentations
16. Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability,
17. Usage of tools used in DFMEA, problem solving technique and project management tools
18. Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, project etc.
19. should know to handle CATIA for leading the team by showing necessary section and model requirement.

Experience

6 to 9 years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM or Tier I like Visteon, Marelli, Forvia,BOE,LG Tata, VW, Mercedez, BMW, Skoda

Qualifications

BE/B Tech or M Tech in Mechatronics Engineering

General Requirements

Interfacing with all inter dept teams right from marketing to service as so to start from understanding the marketing requirements and till service related activities. i.e., from start to end of project

Abreast on latest technologies across industry

Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement

Adhering to committed timelines

Program management & detailed documentation

Open to short/medium term travel on need basis, across India & overseas

Very Good Vehicle system knowledge in Display and other E&E agregates in the vehicle

Market research & Industry trend analysis through tools like benchmarking, networking, conferences, papers, etc

Design thinking through collaboration with internal studio, experts across industries & suppliers for amalgamating the technology into the product

Exposure in Catia V5,

Knowledge in electronics & LEDs

Program management skills

Basic level knowledge in Vehicle electronics
