Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
2. Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.
3. Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheelbase calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
4. Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
5. Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
6. Ensure Quality of EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM
7. Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.
8. Track, monitor and optimize aggregates to enhance performance
9. To achieve standardization yet addressing diverse requirements
10. Ensure CAD Vehicle Layout to facilitate design Engg for modification insertion / introduction of the new parts in the vehicle by collecting all the CAD models together and locating at vehicle location
11. Monitor weight to ensure that the overall vehicle weight does not cross the target by using material properties for CAD model and finding out system wise weights also by physically weighing the EP parts.
12. Ensure Serviceability and manufacturability of vehicle to avoid later changes in the program / vehicle by simulating the process of assembly /removal of various components to assembly line / service workshop in CAD
13. Maintain Quality of E BOM to ensure that the cost is within target and the materials team is aware of parts required for various

B.E Mechanical

General Requirements

1.Good knowledge TC and CATIA
2. thorough knowledge of EBOM
3. should have detailed knowledge on vehicle systems
4. Hands on exp on MS Word, excel and power point
5. should be familiar with usage of AI tools for VI applications
6. Thorough knowledge of Product design and development and process
8. Should have in depth knowledge about Product life cycle, like Design ,Proto validation, homologation, TCF issues resolution
9.Should be able to Lead the CFT team and ensure no gaps
10. Should be able to resolve conflict and should possess conflict management skills
11. Should have problem solving skills
12.Should have knowledge on vehicle dynamics and performance
13.Improved vehicle quality and reliability through early issue identification and robust validation processes
14. Drove continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and integration processes
15. Support smooth product launches with reduced defects and improved production readiness
