Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

* Responsible for the engine component which are handled by them
* Benchmarking of engine component and data base creation.
* Conceptualization of System & sub system of Diesel engine using CAD
* Review of DFM ,DFA & DFS requirement
* Design calculation for Engine components.
* Tolerance Stack-up & review of GD&T
* Supplier interaction and DFM issues closure
* Understanding the Interface Aggregate requirement and alignment.
* Coordination with CAE & review of simulation.
* Carrying out DFMEA at component level
* Root Cause Analysis
* Layout & Interface Review

Experience

6 to 10 Years

Industry Preferred

Tractor/Automobile

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech

General Requirements

* Good communication skills
* Leadership Skills
* Fidelity to adapt to challenging situations
* Flexible in adapting to business needs
* Basic knowledge in Component Design calculation
* Exposure to Manufacturing processes and Material used in engine
* Hands on experience in Root Cause analysis of Engine Components
* Ability to infer CAE, CFD & NVH reports and propose design solution

Functional Competencies:

* Experience on 3D CAD tools - UG NX14 or above will be added advantage
* Knowledge of Engine component design & modelling
* GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis, DFMEA
* Basic knowledge of PLM/Teamcenter
* Basics of bolts and bolt calculations
* Basics of engine NVH and understanding of noise transfer mechanism
* Design Calculations for Engine Components
