Role Summary

We are looking for an EDW QA Tester with strong data analysis skills to support the quality and reliability of enterprise data solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in QA testing, hands-on experience in data validation, and strong SQL capabilities. The person in this role will help ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems while working closely with the existing team to test enterprise data warehouse processes and related data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute QA testing activities focused on data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance across enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Write and run SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, transformation logic, and end-to-end consistency across source and target systems.
• Analyze datasets to identify data issues, anomalies, gaps, and mismatches, and work with relevant teams to support timely resolution.
• Validate data pipelines, ETL or ELT workflows, and downstream reporting outputs to ensure reliable data movement and integrity.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test evidence, and defect documentation related to data and EDW testing.
• Collaborate with QA, development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Support regression testing, defect retesting, and release validation for data-related changes.
• Ramp up quickly on the existing testing landscape, processes, and team ways of working to contribute effectively in a short timeframe.

Required Qualifications

• Background in QA testing with a strong focus on data validation and data quality testing.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to query, validate, and analyze datasets independently.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data issues and assess accuracy and completeness.
• Good understanding of testing principles, defect management, and validation approaches in data-centric environments.
• Ability to work effectively within an existing team and adapt quickly to project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data pipeline testing and enterprise data warehouse testing.
• Exposure to ETL or ELT validation and testing across complex data flows.
• Familiarity with large datasets, reporting validation, and structured test documentation.
• Experience working in fast-paced delivery environments where quick onboarding and collaboration are important.
