Facilities Services – Mechanical Maintenance
This is a one-year probationary position.
Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
$7,497.00–$8,277.00 Per Month ($89,964.00–$99,324.00 Annually)
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Under the general direction of the Director, Facilities Operations, the Lead Engineer is primarily responsible for providing lead direction and working with one or more groups or crews of skilled and semi-skilled workers involved in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning, swimming pools, library retrieving system (LRS), and equipment throughout a campus.
o Thorough knowledge of the methods, tools and materials used in the operation, maintenance and repair of such equipment
o Knowledge of ventilation principles, thermal dynamics, and closed water systems
o Knowledge of energy management systems including the ability to understand and use system features
This position requires the successful completion of a background check.
