Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Architect and ship scalable cloud apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP (Lambda, ECS, Kubernetes)
  • Build AI/ML integrations using modern application frameworks
  • Design event-driven microservices and serverless architectures with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
  • Lead small teams through agile delivery, mentoring developers and maintaining code excellence
  • Own the full stack—from pixel-perfect, accessible UI implementation to robust Django REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Build real-time features using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events
  • Champion DevOps practices, security compliance, and continuous delivery with CI/CD pipelines
  • Lead architecture design discussions, propose technical solutions, and define development standards and best practices
  • Create and enforce data engineering best practices including coding standards, testing frameworks, documentation, and deployment patterns
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, and E2E tests
  • Optimize performance and establish observability with APM tools and monitoring
  • Bridge product, design, and engineering to ship features that matter

What You Bring

  • 8+ years building production grade solutions
  • Expertise in web apps with React, including state management (Redux, Zustand)
  • Expertise in developing modern applications incorporating AI - LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI APIs
  • Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript proficiency with responsive design and component libraries
  • Strong Python and Django expertise with REST and GraphQL API design
  • Hands-on Docker and containerization experience with CI/CD pipeline creation (Git, Jenkins, Artifatory)
  • Deep cloud platform development experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) with serverless and containers.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, authentication patterns (OAuth, JWT, SSO)
  • Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and Semantic databases, including schema design and query optimization
  • Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, Selenium)
  • Knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Vite), Git workflows, and trunk-based development
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Sentry, Langfuse)
  • Proven ability to mentor teams and drive engineering excellence
  • Clear communicator who takes initiative and follows through
  • Collaborative problem-solver in fast-paced environments
