Lead Engineer

Job requirements

  • Develop and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, Servlets, and OSGi services to deliver scalable content management solutions.
  • Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
  • Integrate React.js applications and components with AEM and REST APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks to maintain high system reliability.
  • Support deployments, releases, testing, and application maintenance, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices.
  • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Components, Templates, HTL/Sightly
  • Proficiency in Sling, OSGi, and JCR for AEM development
  • Strong skills in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript for modern front-end development
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive UI design
  • Experience integrating REST APIs with frontend and backend systems
  • Version control using Git
  • Build automation with Maven or npm/yarn
  • Experience with Content & Experience Fragments in AEM
  • Knowledge of Dispatcher, CDN, and caching fundamentals
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of security best practices in web and microservices development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
  • Certification in Java programming or Spring Framework (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Spring Professional Certification)
  • Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer)
