• Provide leadership to the engineering team(s) in solving highly complex problems, following the solutions all the way through to implementation to ensure that issues are truly closed
• Perform high-level concept development to meet system and vehicle requirements while understanding how to optimize these systems for function, efficiency, cost, weight, ergonomics, manufacturability and serviceability
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple competing work assignments from engineering, studio, and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with engineers and studio to support hardware fabrication, interface with suppliers and machine shops for delivery of mechanical hardware
• Support CAD studies for vehicle variants and platform studies
• Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFM etc.
• Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts.
• Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.
• Experience in product engineering & Packaging of Car projects preferably in OEM
• Proficient in Surface/Solid modeling & Assembly Design using CATIA V5 / NXx
5 - 10 Years
Any other OEM in electrical domain, Tier 1 suppliers (for EV specific systems)
BE/B Tech Mechanical Engineering
BE/B Tech Automobile engineering
Any other equivalent degree
